Liana Varano

Liana Varano is Vice-President, Finance at CDPQ Infra. In this role, she supports the President and Chief Executive Officer with the subsidiary’s financials and accounting, including projects under development and under construction. 

Before joining CDPQ Infra, Liana Varano held various leadership roles at the engineering firm SNC-Lavalin from 2015 to 2019. Notably, she served as Financial Controller for the SNC Capital division, where she oversaw accounting and the consolidation of public-private partnership (PPP) investments. She also served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of InTransit BC, the automated electric transit system connecting the city of Richmond, the international airport, and downtown Vancouver.

Liana Varano began her career in Deloitte’s audit department from 2006 to 2014, where she was responsible for auditing publicly traded companies.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a graduate diploma in public accounting from McGill University, and is a member of the Québec Order of Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA).
